My Recent Visit To My Photography Club in Calgary
I recently joined a photography club in Calgary and during our most recent meeting, I was asked what my most memorable photo shoot was? I thought about it and realized that “pet portraits” are always fun and can be frustrating. Offering pet photos is a great way to expand your business into new and untapped areas that many of us may not have thought of.
When giving gifts, we must always keep in mind that it is truly the thought that is important so no matter what cost connected to the gift, if it reaches the beneficiary as impersonal, the gift would then be not as unique as you want it to be. Regardless of the celebration, as long as the recipient is a animal lover, you might try considering giving him or her a portrait of his beloved pet as a gift. A pet lover often sees their animals not as belongings but as companions in everyday life.
Lots of pets that exhibit nearly human intelligence like dogs can serve a lot of purposes in a persons life and offer not simply support their daily routines but companionship and protection. Pets, regrettably, have a very short life span, compared to that of humans, so people can enjoy only a brief relationship with their pets.
Animal lovers would then without doubt appreciate if you bestow upon them a portrait done of their favorite pets. Having a portrait of their pets, they will have the ability to remember them and never forget what they look like. Whenever they feel they miss their favorite pets, they only have to glance at the portrait and feel as if their pets are always close by.
There are photographers which concentrate on pet portraits. If you are contemplating giving a pet photo as a present, it ís wise to spend time researching for photographers who truly have knowledge of doing pet portraits.
The key to getting that perfect shot is TREATS! You may have to offer your pet several incentives to let him obey your wishes. Offer them treats in exchange for staying still for a certain period of time. If it ís okay with you, a sleeping pet is no doubt a better subject than one that’s awake.
However hard it may be, everything would be worth it when you see the smile on your friends face as you give them their much-awaited gift!
